Cold, is it so prone to misunderstanding?
Cold, can it be any sort of destiny? It’s but
A steelyard that Time hands down.
Therefore, damned butterfly, now that you
Have lost my letter when you overfly
The last boundary, you have to retrograde to a comet—
My reason for cringing at cold is starkly different from yours;
It’s somewhat like that I have seen
My fall distinctly in my own curses.

冷，就这么容易被误解吗。
冷，算什么命运？它不过是
时光递过来的一杆秤。
所以，该死的蝴蝶，既然你
在翻越最后一道界限时，弄丢了
我的信，你就必须再变回一颗彗星——
因为我怕冷的理由和你完全不同，
它有点像我在我的诅咒中
清晰地看见了我的堕落。
